MICROWAVE LINK

One of our direct connections to the internet does not run through a 'traditional' link such as an 'Optical Fibre', instead we have chosen to compliment the 'traditional' method with a 'MICROWAVE' link.  This has numerous advantages for us as a hosting provider, which in turn means that these will also benefit you.  

Having an infrastructure of this standard gives us the opportunity to be extremely redundant.  By this we mean that 'down time' will be kept to a bare minimum, if not obsolete.                                                                                      This is achieved by sending data through the air, in the form of "micro-waves'.  This method of data transfer prevents external factors interrupting service, such as workmen drilling through the line in the road.  (Years of experience has taught us that this can be quite a common occurrence).  It also allows us to effectively have bandwidth 'On Tap' should we require it.
